The first step of any journey is to map out your ideas! As you start discovering yourself it’s important to take inventory of your inner turmoil and foster the right environment for exploration! Focus on mapping out your values, goals, and talents. Remember a journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step, be patient with yourself :) everything great takes time!
'Self Discovery' was inspired by child-like curiosity, exploration, and natural elements. The mixed media editing incorporates pressed florals and magazine clippings of nature photography as a means of communicating how exploration of oneself is an organic part of the journey.
For our artistic rendering, we focused on literal interpretations of maps! The photoshoot leaned into some of the more whimsical imagery we saw around exploration.
